I’ve been getting some blog spam as of late, and added my first IP to the IP Banning option in <a href=”http://www.moveabletype.org”>MoveableType’s</a> IP Banning config. Is this an effective method of blocking spam from those people?

Documenting Component Methods
Thanks to <a href=”http://www.shockwave-india.com/blog/”>Arul</a>, if we combine this with a small Flash panel that can interface with your CustomActions, then this is a phat little tool. My only issue with delving into is that CustomActions is dangerous. I’ve actually written a wrong XML tag, and had Flash crash eveytime I typed in a period. Still, maybe I’ll have too much Corona one night, and make it. Either way, thanks for this <a href=”http://www.shockwave-india.com/blog/”>Arul</a>!

All About Color
Courtesy of <a href=”http://www.mediadiva.net/mt/”>her majesty</a>.
I get a tingly feeling and want to paint with water color when I view this site. Really phat way to match up colors. For a hybrid like me, this is a great tool. Very nice use of Flash.

New Toys
I just got Sorenson Squeeze 3.5 for Flash MX and ASV 3.1. I can now actually control the compression of my audio! It even has 2 pass VBR which makes me want to yuke… my videos are gonna be soooo dang clean, yo!
Also, ASV is just crazy, you can see everything from a SWF! I protected it, and even put code in components, but nothing can escape ASV. What a beast… your SWF’s aren’t safe from me!!!
