  • Wanna speak at a conference in Sydney, Australia?

    I was a nobody, but for some reason someone musta told them (<a href=”http://daemon.com.au/”>Daemon</a>) I was cool, so I got to go last February. I got to meet and hang with Branden Hall (the only other time was nervously asking him why he cut his hair while he signed my book… I was so nervous). I met Ben Forta (ColdFusion pimp) and a plethora of other celebreties, and awesome Aussie persona’s… the stories are numerous …and I drank a lot!!! I can attest, Sydney rules, but don’t tell the peeps from Melbourne I said that.

    So, wanna speak there? Cool, submit a paper, yo!

  • SPAM made me laugh

    My favorite is their spelling “terrorist”, but since English is not their native tongue, I’ll cut them some slack for that. Still, “Know thy enemy better than thy knows thyself” goes the adage, so if they’re spelling is not on par, do they really have a chance with war in the digital world?

    Who cares.

  • Formatting for the Flash Date Object

    I was flabbergasted no one had written AND published some date formatting code. During my exaserbation on the noobz list, Darron slap hooked it up based on ColdFusion. Communities rock!

  • New Mag: Flash MX Developer’s Journal

    Mag = magazine
    Zine = personal, non-profit magazine usually self-published

    (Hope I got that right)

    Anyway, Candace, a fellow Flash developer and helper with the Flashcom Admin API documentation, congratulated me today on getting accepted as an editor. I totally forgot to mention it!

    Check the 4th or 5th paragraph.
