Worldwise Usergroup Meeting: ATL Location Info

OFFICIAL ATLANTA MACROMEDIA USER GROUP SEPTEMBER MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT.

All,

We are thrilled to announce that by joining us at the September 3
worldwide user group event, you will be the first users to see the new
Macromedia MX 2004 products. You will see demonstrations of Dreamweaver
MX 2004, Flash MX 2004, Fireworks MX 2004, Studio MX 2004 and the
all-new Flash Professional MX 2004.

We will also be raffling off a copy of Studio MX 2004 to those
attending the event, so make sure to join us! The event will be
broadcast over Macromedia’s Breeze Live so you’ll also experience
Macromedia’s newest collaboration tool.

In the words of Macromedia’s president of products, Norm Meyrowitz:
“The MX 2004 products are evolutionary in their approach, as you will
see when you dig deeper into each one. We built MX 2004 for you. Over
the last 18 months, you told us what you liked about MX and how to make
it better. Whereas the initial MX products blazed a new, uncharted
trail, the MX 2004 versions make the path cleaner, wider, and easier to
traverse. We are raising the bar even higher knowing that our customers
will, once again, take the lead and go in amazing new directions. We
can’t wait to see what you’re going to do with this!”

Comments Are Broken

Until I figure out how to nuke MoveableType into oblivion, here are the previous thread’s comments:

I’m curious… I never saw a link to submit work. So whose work is it that they are showcasing?

JesterXL
That’s kinda odd… I remember the first 2 were local developers; you could submit stuff, and I came so close to doing so. I guess it’s the sponsors, eh? Looked on their site and no submission buttons…

Regardless, I’ve missed too many of these, and after missing the Eleven50 hosted one, I’m not gonna miss another. I’m so in need of experiencing design in Flash, it’s not funny…

Flashbang v5

On August 15 at 7pm Flashbang v5 will showcase the best local and international interactive
work. This year we’re featuring even more visionary work including: interactive applications,
digital animation, web-sites, installations, games and more. The work this year will be

attendees will receive a limited-run event book with images from the submitted work, commentary
on the work and articles about digital creativity and communication.
