The Components of Techno

My ex-manager never liked House music. Because he could dance, he loathed it, and liked breaks instead. Think House and Breaks, poetry and prose.

A lot of people just don’t understand techno, or House, since that’s what techno is usually associated with nowadays, although techno is a wide spectrum of styles.

I think this site explains it best. The tune you can download at the end was sent to me by a co-worker. It just made my day, man.

  1. Hehe.. that’s too much! Sums up really how I’ve explained techno or complained about techno to others.

On a related note… anyone know the name of that pseudo-hardcore band that does whole songs with just vocal noises? Drums, guitar, bass, even vocals.. all vocal. It’s annoying as hell, but damn funny.

  2. Dude!

Strong Bad just has a way of telling it straight. Be sure to check out his emails regarding all the important topics such as “how to draw a dragon” or what he would look like as a “Japenese Cartoon”…
