Spent last year doing flex and the last two months doing ext-js. The last two months of my life have been horrible. Ext JS is full of bugs (im using 4.07) and the documentation is abysmal. Javascript is a flawed language (just because a language has closures doesnt make it any good). Im not a hater – this is an honest perspective from someone who has used both, i’m sure you’ll find out for yourselves soon enough.
