					<description><![CDATA[Are you talking about code that compiles vs. code that doesn&#039;t compile or that is not featue complete? I can&#039;t remember having written more than ten lines, that doesn&#039;t compile, sounds strange to me. 
To get a good feeling of progress, maybe you should take a look at test driven development. Kent Beck wrote a nice book about it. It not only helps to create code that works, but also gives you a good sense of progress.
