That&#039;s why we get these &quot;beliefs&quot; that everyone must be in agreement with us. We get a self-feeding skew. At least that&#039;s my experience. I admit that I don&#039;t read or listen to much to the &quot;other side.&quot; I try. I have friends on that other side. But I haven&#039;t found much that is well-argued logically, to appeal to my engineer&#039;s mentality.

As for the Economist, even they, a British conservative publication, endorsed Kerry.
