I apologize I couldn't have written more and released that too. The time that I was given to write those chapters were a very stressful time in my life and I got burnt out pretty bad. 4 was all I could do.

However, very soon, with the advent of Breeze, there should be more, but I think a quick primer to the objects that matter would be a great addition. Still, there are a lot of documentation on it now in the Flash Reference/Help Panel, and Macromedia's site.

What are you looking for; tutorials? Walk throughs?

As for suppression, I think the opposite; they are using their own technology in Breeze, so maybe it's just in flux?

Thank for posting the chapters. I don't know if anyone knows this or not but I got the news stright from the horses mouth. (publisher Wiley, John & Sons Inc.) that this book has been canceled and no other book is scheduled to replace it. This is trully sad. I've been watching for this book to be released for 6 months and on Amazon it's got a release date of May 1, 2004 but last week it was March 2004 and back in February it was Feb 23, 2004. I think this is just completely bogus. Why is information about FlashComm being supressed so much. The two books out about FlashComm are a joke and they are both from Macromedia Press. So it leaves me with the question..... Why is macromedia suppressing information about FlashComm?

Thanks for posting the chapters. Very helpful. Been waiting 2 months for the book. Order still open at Amazon.

In particular, just proposed an educational game along the lines you described in chap 25. You reafirmed that Director/Flash/FlashComm is the way to go.
