I sentence you to 200 pages of Edmund Burke as penance. Barry Goldwater would be a weak but acceptable substitute. If you're listening to Rush, you've clearly been horribly misled as to what conservatism is. Mind you, after enough Burke you might find yourself railing against the "Whig media"...

Oops... enough Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh, and phrases like that just slip into everyday conversation. My bad!

Wait. "Liberal media"? Obviously all mainstream news sources want to turn us into gay atheist Muslim pot-smoking tax-and-spend abortion doctors, but what in God's name does that have to do with the Kindle?

I often think negative reviews that appear to be written by raving idiots can actually help a product! If you're really reading the reviews to decide whether you should buy it, your premise is often that you want to buy it and want some kind of validation for your choice. When you see a completely erroneous negative review you likely consider this to be from a madman.

Personally, I'm not sold on the thing... but then again, I didn't buy one either. In fact, I can't remember the last time I bought a novel--the library works pretty darn well for my needs.
