My Zinc commands don’t work if I have Debugging Permitted checked for my FLA. As soon as I uncheck that, it works fine.

Nope, can’t find it. Basically, my mdminit() command as well as my mdm.prompt(”MDM Loaded”) do squat when Debugging Permitted is checked. That was a fun frikin’ hour.

Yep, 2 frikin’ threads. There should be a high-level page added to the docs:

- call mdminit();
- make sure Debugging Permitted is not checked for your FLA

…BACK TO WORK…

  1. Hi Jessie,
    that is also noted in help doc, but I must admit that it’s hard to find it when working:
    Section: Troubleshooting>Common questions>{mdm} script commands not working:
    Click Here

    there are some other ‘gotchas’ with {mdm} scripting but hopefully most of them are already answered/described on forum,

    regards,

  2. All good, I should of checked there first anyway… it just seemed weird to be so fundamentally not working… and it was that little reason why. It wasn’t something big which I imediately would of hit the forum, like all this weekend with File access stuff.

    Still, if you up that to the top in the docs, I think that would help a lot of people! Thanks for taking the time to address this, you rock.
